Gamers Lounge Ep. 100 – Episode 100 Part Two

Part Two of Gamers Loung Episode 100 has arrived. It should have only been a day since part one dropped onto the feed and you (the listener) are back clamoring for more!!! Part two opens up with some more thoughts from Bill, followed by previous hosts Dan and Mike offering thier thoughts an an update on what they are doing now.

Following that Bill returns with some comments and a segment about “What makes a good player”. This was a fun segment to record and when I came across it again I felt it needed to be included.

After that we jump into the anticipated interview with Bill’s Wife, “Mrs. Gamers Lounge”.

Gamers Lounge Ep. 100 – Episode 100 Part One

Wow, it’s finally here and available for download. Gamers Lounge has reached 100 episodes of podcasting goodness and this release brings you the first part of episode 100. On Ep 100 Part One Bill opens the show with clips of the previous show opening’s and a couple intro’s to the Gamers Lounge. He follows this up with a reminiscence about the show and then dives into a flashback to one of the early conversation’s about “Where is 40K going and the current Trends”

This is followed up with a cool flashback to some different Guest introductions from Adepticon 2010. After the guests Bill invites early co-host Jay back to the show for a chat to catch up.

Gamers Lounge Special – Strange Brew with the Beer Thralls

Bill recently joined local podcasters and friends of the show, the Beerthralls for a special joint recording. In this “Strange Brew” episode, Bill and the Thralls talk about the depiction and overall approach to women in miniature gaming. Its an interesting discussion and should be fun to listen to for all involved.

I have the privilege to speak with Jeremy Glen of Creature Caster about his upcoming kickstarter. Jeremy was the driving force behind Ultraforge Miniatures, those large scale centerpiece models of Demons, Dragons, and Treemen you are jealous of when your opponent pulls them out. Well, Jeremy is back with a new venture, Creature Caster, and his models are reaching greater heights of detail! We talk about his new Digital Sculpting process and how the new process differs from physical sculpting. We also delve into his strategy and approach to using kickstarter and how the upcoming kickstarter will help him launch the new company.
