Episode 55 of the Gamers Lounge starts off with a small discussion with my local guys about the new Malifaux Campaign Dead Heat. We talk about our expectations and thoughts around the campaign, along with going over some of the special rules for the HQ sections of the city. That is followed by a great conversation with CJ (Sandwich from the Wyrd Forums) and Dan (Zephir from the Wyrd Forums). They talk about Resurrectionists and how the faction stacks up.

    Hey guys great show, the discussion was a bit rocky at first but after CJ got more comfortable being on mike it leveled out. I can see his point but I think the problem is he’s gotten lost in the negative. Where he was saying sure that’s good but look at all these flaws…you can do that with any faction or figure, I’m a Guild player and as an example with Guild for example we’re not very mobile, we don’t have a lot of tricky synergies where models work off of one another, as a couple of examples, but just to focus on that, which is what CJ seems to be doing with Ressers, is to ignore all the good stuff they can do, high Will power, massive damage, solid core of models who work the same no matter who they are paired with. In the end I think CJ’s take is valid, but it’s very glass is half empty.
